The economic recovery and the incentivization of talent are topics that are the order of the day. Biz Barcelon fira has been the key platform for the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Barcelona to unite concepts and leave behind the economic difficulties that the pandemic has left behind.
Last Tuesday 09, Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 November took place in the Montjuic space of Fira Barcelona the BizBarcelona21 event under the slogan #TALENTxBCN, a day that showed that the recovery is already underway and that the opportunities and projects are activated. Valkiria Group ‘s participation in the event was once again active and influential. We were present during the three days, being part of the experience that brought together in the same space more than 120 conferences with the participation of 300 speakers.
We started the first day with a program designed from Valkiria, together with partners, three hours of presentations by the best experts. A day known as ‘Xcentric Talent Sessions’ and moderated from start to finish by Jesús Galán, event presenter and speaker, who imbued the audience with good vibes.
Speeches to encourage talent and the future of work
We started with the intervention of Iolanda Triviño, CEO of Valkiria Group, who shared her experience in innovation issues focused on current affairs, together with strategic partners.
The first presentation under the concept ‘How to attract talent through values’ was led by Esther Hierro, Director of MARINVA, David Alonso, Co-Founder of Zinquo and Ramón Martínez CEO of POLx. A presentation led by interactivity and dynamics with the audience, which allowed networking and reflection through values. We also had the opportunity to present, exclusively, the interactive user immersion platform POLx, through which the event was broadcast live.
Then we had the participation of Natalia Olson-Utrecho, Obama’s presidential advisor (2021 to 2017) and Co-Founder of ‘The Disruptive Factory’ , TOP SPEAKER of the event. He offered to the public the conference ‘Select talent for your company like Silicon Valley startups’. With a great intervention of the public through questions that encouraged reflection in those present.
Dinonís Guzmán, director of ISDI Barcelona, closed the morning with the last presentation; ‘Discover the essential skills demanded by today’s market’. With his professionalism and charisma he made the room fill up in a matter of minutes.
Creation of an innovation community
BizBarcelona is composed, on the one hand, of conferences with professional content by experts, and on the other hand, an exhibition area made up of different companies, organizations and institutions.
Valkiria was present at Booth 225, a space characterized by activities aimed at the more than 9,000 attendees of the global event. We hosted different dynamics; laughter therapy workshop with Jesús Galán, dynamics focused on playthinking by Esther Hierro and activity focused on knowing your core values with the methodology of Zinquo and Simon Dolan, led by Mónica Miguel.
In addition to the activities, we welcomed at our stand all those interested in maintaining a professional relationship with Valkiria. We exchanged ideas and perspectives for improvement in the MICE sector. The high participation and interest of visitors kept the space alive and recharged our batteries to continue advancing day by day in the reactivation of the Sector.
