It’s a cliché, but Confucius was right. At Valkyrie Hub Space we have started the month of September with our batteries well charged, ready for an end of the year that promises to be very, very busy. So we have the duty to enjoy what we do, and we always succeed. So Choose a job you love and you won’t have to work a day in your life.
On Tuesday we were at the cocktail party
‘Hello Barcelona!’
organized by Barcelona Global, where we talked with different local and international personalities who live in the city about the positioning of Barcelona as the Capital of Talent.
Barcelona as Capital of Talent
and the slogan was ‘Make things happen’.
It was a very interesting experience for us, as well as a pleasure, since it took place at the Palauet Albéniz, a magical place to watch the sunset over Montjuïc.
But the highlight of the week was NEXT BANK EUROPE, a three-day congress at our facilities at
Valkiria Hub Space
and which featured top speakers from the international financial, innovation and technology scene.
On Friday, the congress concluded with the presentation of the awards
BBVA Open Talent Europe
awards, which rewarded
startups
related to New Banking and Digital Life.
ClauseMatch, TrasnferGo, Counterest and Audiosnaps were the awarded projects that, without a doubt, will soon be part of our (technological) life :-).
And, what else will we remember this week? Evidently, because it is the first week of school for our little ones. For this reason, we have dedicated ourselves to promote our program, one of those parts of our work that we like the most, because it connects us directly with our family side.
Kids Project
We have also dedicated ourselves to the promotion of our Kids Project program, one of those parts of our work that we like the most, because it connects us directly with our more familiar side, since, as you know, children are our main concern.
These activities begin next
September 30th
and we can’t stop recommending them to you because we have thought of them thinking about the education we would like for our own children. They are hyper-stimulating and bring together two concepts that we are passionate about:
technology and self-knowledge
. Through the world of robotics, our children learn to know their capabilities, to discover their hidden TALENTS and how to enhance them. It is an innovative form of education, along the lines of countries such as Finland, where students are given the freedom to learn about their own abilities. So remember: Choose a job you love and you won’t have to work a day in your life.
