On November 22nd at Bital, co-organized by the<a href=\"\/\/eapc.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" >School of Public Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya<\/a> and <a href=\"\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/3088928\/admin\/updates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Valkiria<\/a>, we reflected on how to manage talent through values from the perspective of the public and private sector.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A different vision of leadership<\/strong><strong> based on values<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5401 aligncenter\" style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 14px;\" src=\"\/\/www.valkiria.barcelona\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2019\/01\/1-1080x720.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" srcset=\"\/\/www.workinnovationbarcelona.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/12\/1-300x200.jpg 300w, \/\/www.workinnovationbarcelona.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/12\/1-768x512.jpg 768w, \/\/www.workinnovationbarcelona.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/12\/1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, \/\/www.workinnovationbarcelona.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/12\/1-610x407.jpg 610w, \/\/www.valkiria.barcelona\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2019\/01\/1-1080x720.jpg 1080w\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"398\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/simon-dolan-2250181\/?originalSubdomain=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Simon Dolan<\/a>, a world reference in values and the future of work and president of  <a href=\"\/\/globalfutureofwork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" >Global Future of Work Foundation (GFWF)<\/a>, explained the necessary conditions to lead in this new world:  <strong>establish trust with your collaborators, communicate and live your values in a coherent way and identify the leadership skills you lack and do something about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Panell de directives<\/strong><strong>s extraordin\u00e0ries: reptes i oportunitats<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;You have to put into practice actions based on what you hear from your team,&#8221; explained S\u00f2nia Serracarbassa, Director of the Catalunya Convention Bureau &#8211; Catalan Tourism Agency. <a href=\"\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sserracarbassa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" ><br \/>\n  <strong>S\u00f2nia Serracarbassa<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/a>Director Catalunya Convention Bureau &#8211; Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de Turisme<strong>. <\/strong> For S\u00f2nia, to lead is to go beyond promotion and recruitment for the business.  <strong>It is to know what the needs of the industry and the sector are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/annamercadeferrando\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" rel=\"nofollow\" ><br \/>\n  <strong>Anna Mercad\u00e9<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/a>Director of the Observatori Dona, Empresa i Economia of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, defended the feminine values in the Administrative Councils of the companies but moreover, &#8220;<strong>we have to be aware that women have internalized the masculine patterns<\/strong>&#8220;, she said.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>In 70% of companies in Catalonia there are no women on the Board of Directors.
